Let’s just hope Sideswipe the Stingray makes an appearance in the next Transformers, huh?

I mean, sure.  Over the years, Mazda has come up with plenty of cars and concepts that I like, that I think are cute or cool or what have you, but the Mazda Furai concept seriously makes me weak in the knees.

This racer, revealed last year in that steel machine of a city, Detroit, is a very racy interpretation of Mazda’s Nagare design, which was understandably award winning.

I don’t even have a lot to say involving specs and all of that, because frankly, I can’t stop drooling over my keyboard.  So if you all will excuse me, the Furai and myself need to be alone for a little while…

It is the second generation of the manufacturer’s luxury sedan, designed to be positioned before even the Genesis, which pretty much places it at the top of the manufacturer’s portfolio.

Its competition? Vehicles like the Mercedes S-Class, the Audi A8, and even the BMW 7 Series. Hardcore, am I right?

As you can see, the Korean manufacturer’s claims that this is a luxurious and powerfully styled car definitely come true.

The problem? It is not yet known whether this flagship sedan will be available in any of the overseas market. Bummer, right?

If that is the case, it just makes me want to jump the pond even more than I already do. It is just a concept so far, for an urban car, but what a concept!

Visually, it looks sort of like an alien VW Bug, maybe with a little bit of Mini DNA thrown in for good measure. I think the result is … adorable, is absolutely the only word for it. It is cuter than kittens.

It is an extremely lightweight car and it runs on a hydrogen fuel cell. So, it is smart and cute!

Powerful, high performance, sleek, sexy … you can look at this baby and practically hear the purring throb of the motor. Rawr!

The Viper has been around since 1992, and since then it just seems to keep getting better and better. In the seventeen years it has been around, it has definitely earned its reputation as a high end, high performance vehicle, thanks in part to its sophisticated, sleek, and one of a kind appearance.

Like say, though, you have to be able to afford this hungry kitten — and you have to be willing to sacrifice a little fuel efficiency in the bargain.

The 2010 Volkswagen Amarok is by far going to be the best pickup truck in the world.  It is actually dubbed a full-service pickup truck with two and four cabins and it will be equipped with an all new line of highly efficient diesel engines, which in my book is pretty cool!

Production on the 2010 Volkswagen Amarok will start early in 2010 and it should be on the market in South and Central America in the summer of 2010 while the rest of the world will have to wait a while for it!  One of the coolest things about this truck is the bed … look at it, you can’t get better than that!

This car really does combine the very best of two worlds and it is definitely one car that Germany has went wild for.  The car itself is made of an extremely light but definitely durable material, the overall design form the very tip of the headlights all the way to the back rear spoiler has been designed to be chic and clean and overall, I think they did a great job!

Alex Fedorak, Kia Cars America spokesperson beamed at the wonderful response they got for the Kia Soul’ster. “The response was so overwhelming that Kia decided that it needs to take a closer look,” said Fedorak. “It is clearly a vehicle that was built as a concept in a fashion that was production-capable. We have been doing that more and more lately.”

While it is based on the bulky 2010 Kia Soul, a five-door hatchback, the Kia Soul’ster is aimed on a younger target market with limited budget. The sporty and outdoorsy design is the work of Kia Design Central America of Irvine, California with Tom Kearns as the lead designer and Mike Torpey in charge of the initial rendering. The roof covers only the front seats of the car leaving the rear seats covered only by a roll bar, which could get a little untidy during rainy season. But the rear seats are foldable giving the Soul’ster the cargo capabilities of a pick-up truck.

Promising of a smooth yet funky riding experience for young drivers, the Kia Soul’ster is pack with a 1.6-meter four-cylinder engine, which makes 120 horsepower, partnered with a five-speed manual transmission. In addition to this, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 140 horsepower is an option for those who want their first car a little bit more powerful.

Set to hit the market sometime this March, the price of the Kia Soul’ster will start at $13,995 plus shipping, KIA car insurance is very affordable!

The Panamera may be inspired by the revised Boxster and Cayman judging it on its looks. It is a wide sedan at 75 inches and measures 55 inches in height and 195.7 inches in length. We saw this car on a Porsche FanBlog a couple months ago — and it’s really coming along now!

The entry level engine will be a 3.6 L Volkswagen with six cylinders and outputting 300 horsepower. The S variant of the Panamera will roar at 400 horsepower supplied bt a 4.8L V8 engine. The Turbo model will blaze the roads with 500 horsepower. All these models are equipped with the PDK gearbox which is dual clutch.

The car manufacturer is also designing a hybrid counterpart of the Panamera but no official words have been released about its specifications.

The Panamera will be released as a standard rear wheel drive but owners may opt for four-wheel propulsion if they want. The Turbo version will be released as a standard 4-wheel drive.

The interior of the car is engineered to be optimal for driving following the Porsche tradition. No official photos have been released by the manufacturer. The rear seats can also be folded to create more cargo space.

The Porsche Panamera is expected to have a sticker price of $127000. Production will be done in Leipzig in Germany and the engines assembled in their Zuffenhausen headquarters. Porsche foresees selling around 20000 units every year.

The Ferrari California did not win anything during the international show. It did not get a second glance, moreover, not the expected wow stare.

The big aesthetic issue at hand is the bulky rear end of the new car. It was purposely designed to house all the hydraulics of the folding hard top of the Ferrari California.

Unlike what one can expect from a Ferrari, it is trying to be an excellent coupe and a convertible. For this, some sacrifices must be made in terms of design.

The Ferrari California is not the usual Ferrari. Its primary goal is versatility being a 2+ seat car with the backseats that can be folded to allow more luggages like groceries or golf carts.

The car is the first GT with a mid-front V8 engine capable of zooming at 192 mph. The engine has an output of 460 horsepower and 358 lb-ft torque. The Ferrari California has similarities in terms of displacement with F430 only with a slightly lower redline at 8000 rpm.

The Ferrari California may compete with the Aston Martin DB9 Volante, the SL63 Mercedes-Benz, and the Porsche 911 Turbo spider. The price of the Ferrari California is estimated at $231,500.

Ferrari California is due for release in Europe by February or March in 2009. US residents will have it in their dealerships by June.
